Cheam Fields Bowls section’s men’s, ladies’, and mixed teams compete in a variety of different leagues, cups friendlies, district, County and National competitions throughout the bowls season.

Whatever your level, there are plenty of opportunities to play. There are also 21 internal competitions taking place each season, culminating in our prestigious Finals Day weekend held during the first weekend of September.
A Roundup of the 2025 Season

Congratulations to all of the winners who made in through to the Club Finals weekend in September, especially Men’s Open Champion, Bill Beney; Men’s Champion, Bernie Pettit; and Ladies’ Champion, Marje Mitchell.
Match participation grew in 2025, and league positions improved, with most of our ladies’, mixed, and open teams finishing mid-table. The men's team retained their place in Division 1 of the East Surrey League in a nail-biting season finale against Ashtead.
Individual players and teams were also well represented at various district, county, and national bowls competitions, with notable successes as follows:
