The Cheam Fields Tennis Finals Day 2025, held on June 28, was a day of celebration, showcasing skilled tennis and excellent sportsmanship.

Several of this year’s finalists grew up and learnt their tennis at Cheam Fields Club as juniors and young adults. Congratulations to all of them. Our youngest player on the courts, a finalist in both the men’s doubles and mixed doubles, is certainly one to watch for the future.

This year’s Finals Day kicked off with the Junior Tennis Finals. The event was organised by Cheam Fields Tennis head coach, Mark Love of MDL Coaching. Well done to all our junior champions and finalists.

Afternoon play saw Holly Tresadern secure a hat-trick. She won the Ladies’ Singles, Ladies’ Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Both the Ladies’ Singles and Doubles were hard fought and decided in close 10-point championship tie-breaks.
