Great Membership Benefits
Joining is easy, just complete our very simple online Contact Us form - and we will contact you! Or pop down to the Club and see for yourself. What’s more, Bowls membership also includes Social membership, so you will have a full calendar of great social events to enjoy as well.
The Bowls green is located in a quiet, residential area with ample parking. It is adjacent to the main clubhouse and bar, perfect for a welcome drink after a game. The Club also has a resident caterer who provides the food for matches and events.
There are lots of opportunities to play, with regular competitions and events held throughout the playing season (April to September). The Men’s and Ladies’ Finals are traditionally held during the last weekend of August, followed by a celebration dinner. Out of season players can still enjoy playing short mat bowls, which takes place in the clubhouse.
Just Starting Out?
Don’t worry if you have never bowled before. It’s easy to get started and coaching is provided for beginners and developing players. New bowlers can start playing in social matches as soon as they are confident with the basics. Rinks are set aside for mixed social bowls on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, from 2pm- 5.30pm.
