Fun, friendly bowling at Cheam Fields Club
From brand new bowlers to experienced professionals, everyone is welcome at Cheam Fields Club. We are a friendly Bowls community that want to have fun.
Great news too is that Bowls membership also includes Social membership, offering a year-round choice of well-organised social events and great nights out.
Beginner or Serious Bowler – there's Something for Everyone
There are opportunities to bowl at all levels at Cheam Fields Club, from sociable roll ups right through to taking part in County and National level competitions – and everything in between.
On the social front, two roll up sessions are held each week – a great way to play regularly and meet new people.
For those who are more competitive, men’s, ladies’ and mixed teams compete in a number of different leagues. These matches are played in good spirit and typically end with a sociable drink – either a cup of tea, or something stronger from the Club bar.
Additionally there are opportunities to play in the many internal competitions that take place throughout the season (April to September),
Cheam Fields Bowls offers:
- Weekly Tuesday and Friday afternoon roll ups for all members.

Share in our Competitive Success
Cheam Fields Bowls teams compete regularly in various leagues and competitions, including Bowls England and Surrey County Bowling Association team and individual events.
Men’s teams compete in the East Surrey League, ESL midweek League, TONS League and New Surrey League. Ladies’ teams compete in the East Surrey Bowls League, Cristal League and also the Smith Trophy League - an evening triples league that is ideal for anyone who works during the day. Mixed Cheam Fields Bowls teams represent the Club in the Racal Decca Mixed League.
Additionally Club teams compete in the Bowls England Top Club competition. Cheam Fields men’s and ladies’ teams also play in SDBA, County and National competitions.
