Welcome to the SOCIAL section
The great news is that Cheam Fields Club Social membership is automatically included in subscription fees for all playing categories. Or, of course, those who prefer can join as Social members. Either way, our members enjoy well-equipped clubhouse facilities and a full calendar of Club social events. Please check out the Membership Fees page for further information.
An exciting programme of Social Events
The Club's Social Committee organise high-profile events throughout the year, including popular quiz nights, live music nights and special occasion celebrations.
Wednesday Night Socials take place each week in the clubhouse. Cheam Fields Club is a member of the Bowlers' Darts League. Practice nights are held on a Tuesday evening in the clubhouse from 7 pm. Any Club member is welcome to join the darts team.
Games nights are held on selected Friday evenings (please see table below and our 'What's On' calendar for the latest information). A fun and friendly Short Mat Bowls Night runs on Monday evenings during the winter months - from October to April.

Popular 'Friday Night Games' nights in 2024 will feature the board games Sequence, Rummikub and cribbage. Come along for a fun night with family and friends and test your skills.

Clubhouse & Bar
The well-equipped main clubhouse is open daily for members to use with in-house Club Café and catering managed by resident chef John Horswell. The licensed bar, run by volunteers, opens regularly, also when there are Club matches, social functions or special events. Bar and food prices offer great value for money.
The clubhouse has changing rooms and shower facilities. There is a TV, table tennis table and darts board for members to use.
The clubhouse is also available to hire and makes a great party venue.
