Safeguarding & Protection Policy & Procedures

Cheam Fields Club takes its commitment to safeguarding seriously. We work hard to create a positive and safe environment with strong safeguarding policies and procedures. Our Welfare Officer is Sara Tresadern on 07712 081966.
Concerns can also be reported directly to London Borough of Sutton Child Services on 020 8770 6001, Adult Services on 020 8770 6770, or the Local Authority Designated Officer on 020 8770 4776. The NSPCC can offer advice on 0808 800 5000. In an emergency, please call 999.
Health & Safety inspections are carried out at regular intervals, and every day for the tennis courts and pavilion.
In addition, we undertake an Annual Report for the Club's insurers to ensure continued coverage for Employers and Public Liability insurances.
There are a number of Policies & Procedures in place to cover a variety of issues, including our Code of Practice (below). This document can be viewed in both the clubhouse and pavilion.
Our procedures are checked frequently to ensure that they are up-to-date and relevant.
