Lots to enjoy this Autumn

THE Autumn and Winter season will soon be underway at Cheam Fields. Although it's sad to say goodbye to the summer, there's still a busy schedule of sports and social events coming up for everyone to enjoy.
Stay warm and play more tennis
There are nine social tennis sessions running at different times each week at Cheam Fields, for players of all levels. Social tennis is a great way to support the Club and meet new tennis practice partners and friends. Competitive tennis is also still firmly on the agenda, with adult and junior teams playing league matches from October throughout the winter.
Bowls moves indoors
Play on the outdoor green may be coming to a close, but the Bowls Section's highly popular Short-Mat League evenings keep things rolling throughout the winter. The action takes place on a Monday in the clubhouse. This is a fun and friendly league for all Club members. Please contact Chris Healey if you'd like to join, or for further information.
Rock up for some great social events
The Club's Social Committee have plenty up their sleeves to keep everyone entertained this autumn and winter. The fun kicks off on Saturday, 14th October with a LIVE music Elvis Night, from 7pm in the clubhouse. Tickets are £25 per person and include a two-course Cajun meal. Christmas celebrations will include a Christmas Soiree evening on 1st December and the Cheam Fields Christmas panto - not to be missed!
From 5th October, the Club's ever-popular and great value-for-money Wednesday evening Club Night Suppers are being extended to a Thursday evening. Food needs to be pre-ordered beforehand. And, of course, the bar will be open.
