Latest rules on Tennis restart from 29th March

GREAT NEWS! Cheam Field's tennis courts are able to reopen again from 29th March. From Monday 22nd March at 8pm, registered ClubSpark members can once again start booking courts. A full Summer schedule of tennis activities will be available soon.
The tennis restart will be strictly in accordance with latest Government and LTA guidelines. The LTA's useful 'roadmap' summary grid provides full details about permitted tennis activities.
LTA guidance on Outdoor tennis activities - from 29th March - key points
- Social play is allowed under the 'Rule of 6'. Singles and Doubles permitted.
- Coaching is allowed with a maximum of 12 people on the court at any one time. Maximum group size for children is 15.
- Team matches are able to resume under the previous rules.
- Travel allowed.
Please don't forget to follow the Club rules
- Clubspark court bookings open from 8pm 22nd March, 7 days in advance.
- Members can book 4 hours of court time per week.
- Remember to 'play safe' and 'stay safe'. Keep following all of the current safety and social distancing rules.
- Avoid any socialising on arrival and on leaving the Club.
- Sanitiser will be available on the courts so please use before and after playing, or on changeovers.
- The code for the gates remains the same. Please contact a Member of the Committee if you have forgotten it.
- Mask is mandatory if using the Clubhouse facilities.
- Please self check before attending the Club and DO NOT attend if you have any symptoms, have been asked to self-isolate or quarantine.
- If you attend the Club and subsquently test positive for Covid, please inform a Committee Member.
