Lockdown 2 coming to an end

Ready for restart after Lockdown 2 - Cheam Fields Club is due to reopen for tennis on 2nd December
In line with current guidance from the LTA, the tennis courts will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 2nd December. The situation with regards to new guidance remains fluid so please do keep an eye on the LTA website, and on this website, for further information as it becomes available.
Updated: As per latest guidance issued on 26th November, Cheam Fields Club is under Tier 2 restrictions so can engage in organised social tennis sessions. As per the LTA's guidance, coaching is allowed with a maximum of 12 people on the court at any one time. Maximum group size for children is 15. Social play is allowed. In smaller social groups the rule of 6 applies . Team matches are able to resume under the previous rules.
The planned schedule for junior coaching sessions will be issued by MDL in the next few days.
From this evening (Wednesday 25th November) at 20.00, registered ClubSpark members can once again start booking courts.
Key things to remember please:
- Remember to 'play safe' and 'stay safe'. Keep following all of the current safety and social distancing rules.
- Avoid any socialising on arrival and on leaving the Club.
- Sanitiser will be available on the courts so please use before and after playing, or on changeovers.
- The code for the gates remains the same. Please contact a Member of the Committee if you have forgotten it.
- Please self check before attending the Club and DO NOT attend if you have any symptoms, have been asked to self-isolate or quarantine.
- If you attend the Club and subsquently test positive for Covid, please inform the Covid Response Team.
