Here's a quick roundup of key points:
GENERAL
The smooth running of Cheam Fields Tennis relies on the support of volunteers. Please do consider giving an hour or two here or there by joining the team. Jobs requiring some support can be found in the newsletter. Email or contact a member of the Tennis Committee for further information.
Safeguarding is taken very seriously at Cheam Fields Club. Policies are reviewed and updated regularly by Welfare & Safeguarding Officer Sara Tresadern and underwent a recent review by the LTA. Thank you, Sara. All policy documents can be found here.
The Tennis Section's AGM will be held on Thursday, 21st March at 7.30 pm in the clubhouse. Please come along and support YOUR Committee.
Our popular Easter Tennis Camps run by MDL Coaching will take place from Tuesday, 2nd April to Thursday, 11th April. Camps are aimed at all levels and age groups, including Mini Tennis Coaching and Fun Games (4-8 years), Team Tennis & Drills (7-12 years), Teen Tennis Drills & Matchplay (10 to 15 years), and Full Day Tennis (7-12 years). Parents, please book using the MDL Booking App.
CHEAM CHARTER FAIR - A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT
The 2024 Cheam Charter Fair is being held on Saturday, 18th May, from 9 am to 2 pm. This historic family event offers plenty to see and do, so please come along. Cheam Fields Club ran a successful stall at last year's Fair, providing information on the Club's sports sections and facilities. Volunteers are needed to support this year's membership drive.
