Go Robyn, go!

The countdown has begun! The UK Breakpoint 2019 fundraising tour starts on June 1st. And we’re really proud to be hosting Day 29 at Cheam Fields Club – on Saturday, June 29th from 1.30pm till 6pm!
To kick things off on June 1st, Tim Henman, former GB No. 1, will be hitting the first balls with Robyn Moore at Calthorpe Park LTC in Hampshire. The route will then wind round the country covering 46 UK venues.
At each UK fundraising event, Robyn Moore (aged 43) will be undertaking a ball hitting challenge - to hit 200,000 shots covering a distance of 5 million metres in 30 consecutive days (8-10 hours of hitting a DAY!). And players from Cheam Fields will provide the ‘hitting teams’ on Day 29.
Follow Robyn’s blog here.
Please help to spread the word amongst your family, friends and neighbours as we hope to welcome a big crowd on the day. If you're a Facebook user, we'll be following the whole tour on our Club page and would hugely appreciate your 'likes' and 'shares'. Thank you.
Raising awareness of Mental Health
Breakpoint 2019 aims to raise awareness of Mental Health, to promote the benefits of tennis, and to raise funds to support the Bright Ideas for Tennis Disability programme called ‘I Play 30’. Donations will go to support this great cause and also Cheam Fields’ community tennis programmes. Whatever you can give will be very gratefully received. You can donate direct to the Charity’s JustGiving page, or on the day.
A sensational programme of events for all the family
Cheam Fields’ Charity Day will run from 1.30pm till 6pm on Saturday, June 29th. There’s a full programme to enjoy so please don’t forget to sign up if you’d like to volunteer to help, or want to take part in any of the events. Contact Bryan Jepp.
It’s going to be a great day – and open to all - so please bring family, friends and neighbours and come and join in all the fun.
